Can I get the raw dicom data of pam 50?

Hello?

I am a neuroradiologist working in Korea.
By the way, I want to know the spinal cord volume, area, DTI metrics of normal patients.
I don’t think spinal cord toolbox provides the normal range of metrics.
Raw data (DICOM) of pam 50 is open to public ? If it is limited , then can you let me know the point of contact and I can reach them.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Unfortunatly, we can not share the raw data of the PAM50 template.

However, I have computed the morphometrics of the spinal cord for all 50 subjects from the T2w images (using the spinal cord segmentation and disc labels). I attached a zip with all 50 .csv files and the script used to generate them. It goes from C3 to L1 vertebral levels.

results.zip (2.0 MB)
run_csa.sh (1.3 KB)

Let me know if you have other questions.

Best,

Sandrine

Dear Sandrine

I recruited 28 young Asian healthy controls and got their spinal MRI data. Now, I am analyzing them. Moreover, I want to check any influence of race on spinal cord CSA. ( PAM 50 vs. our data)

I just checked the CSV files you shared, but it seems to be something wrong in the column “Slice (I->S)”. Is this slice in PAM 50 dimension ? It does not match the axial slice number of our data on PAM 50 dimension. Can you check it one more time ? Because I am pretty certain that my data is good in terms of vertebral level and axial slice number , comparing with previous studies including your paper published in 2018

I am attaching one of my data CSV files for the reference.

Also, Can I get the race information of your 50 volunteers who seems to be Caucasian ?
Best regards

We have not gathered this information from the participants, sorry.

The morphometrics were computed in the native image space of each participant, that is why the slice number don’t match.

Here is an updated version in the PAM50space:

run_csa_2024-07-15.sh (1.4 KB)

I also recommend you to check out this normative database of spinal cord morphometrics created with the SpineGeneric multi-center database that is provided in the PAM50 space:
