PMJ and disc-based labelling

Hi Julien,

I just read your recent paper with three different neck position (Pontomedullary junction as a reference for spinal cord cross-sectional area: validation across neck positions - PubMed) and just confused with the labelling, is the 64mm PMJ in your paper corresponds to C2-C3 disc or C3-C4? Please see attached images which have different intervertebral disk labelling.

Hi,
Thank you for noticing this mislabeling. It is identified in the first figure as C3-C4, but corresponds to C4-C5.

The 64 mm distance from the PMJ corresponds to the C2-C3 discs.
