Question about spinal cord lesions

Hello everyone,

We are trying to optimise acquisition parameters for spinal cord pathologies based on Spine Generic protocol. The question is: when acquiring axial sequences (MT, DWI), if the lesion length (rostral-caudal diameter) exceeds the proposed FOV, is it okay to increase slices to cover the whole lesion?

Yes, it is perfectly okay to increase the number of slices to cover the whole lesion, if need be.
