Unexpected colors in T2w image

Hello to all,

What could it mean when we see whitish lines in vertebrae in an acquired T2w image? Also sometimes we see grayish areas in canal while it should be white… are these related to acquisition or they might be a sign of disease?

Hi,
I would recommend showing the images to a radiologist, or posting them here (it is impossible to comment on an image that we don’t see)

Here are some examples. the first row shows images with white areas in the vertebrae, and the 2nd line shows some obvious grayish canals.

The contrast is not great on these images so it’s a bit difficult to see. I would strongly recommend getting advice from a radiologist.
