Installation for SCT version 6.2 failed (with Google Colab)

Dear @jcohenadad and SCT Team,

I ran with Google Colab. I was trying to install SCT version 6.2 (no prior versions installed before) and the installation failed.
It cued me that “Installation failed!
Please find the file “/content/spinalcordtoolbox/install_sct_log.txt”,
then upload it as a .txt attachment in a new topic on SCT’s forum:
→ SCT - Spinalcordmri.org”
Please find attached the file “install_sct_log.txt”

Hi @ziyan_chen,

Thank you for sharing this issue report. I see that you are installing the developer version of SCT from the Git branch “master”.

This is a known bug on the “master” branch (#4397). The bug only first appeared on March 11 (one day ago), and we already have a fix for it ready to be added (#4398). So, very soon, you should be able to install the developer version of SCT without error. (This was just unlucky timing!)

I will follow up with a new reply as soon as that fix is reviewed and merged.

The changes I have linked to have been completed. You should be able to install SCT now without error. :slight_smile:
