Value of mtr post-processing

Hello,

When following the commands for mtr in SCT, I keep getting whole numbers rather than decimals as I have seen in other papers. I realize mtr is supposed to be in percentage units, but I’m not sure if this is something I have to do myself or if this indicates a problem in how I’ve been processing the data. Can you please clarify what the value should be once it is processed? Thank you so much!

Claire

Hi @Claire,

Thanks much for your question! We’d be happy to help.

Just to clarify, I presume you’re referring to the commands presented in the Computing MTR using co-registration between MT0 and MT1 data - Spinal Cord Toolbox documentation tutorial?

If so, may I ask whether you’re using the MTR commands on the tutorial’s data, or on your own data? (And, if you’re using your own data, could you share some sample inputs/outputs for debugging purposes?)

Thank you kindly,
Joshua

Just as a side note: When running the tutorial commands using the latest version of SCT + the tutorial data, I am seeing decimal values ranging from -100 to 100:

So it’s possible that this issue may be data-specific, if the issue is occurring only for your data?

Hello Joshua, Thank you so much for your reply! I have to switch to a different computer to send an example, so I will get back to you in a bit. The test is being run with my own data, and when I ran it I was using SCT version 6.0.
